In 1981,
Bruce was awarded a Churchill Fellowship to study stereo production and natural history recording techniques overseas, including England, Germany and the U.S.A. As a former sound effects specialist, he worked on countless ABC radio productions and won Australian and international awards. Between 1989 - 2008, Bruce travelled around Australia, recording and promoting his Natural Soundscape series.
His daughter, Shannon, now continues his tradition of sharing his passion for the beauty of
the sounds of the Australian bush with you.
